The final dinner

The dinner ended with some love bombing and guitar playing. It was so nice and very satisfying. Now we have only one day left here on Gunilla and it feels so weird but even if it going to be sad it will be amazing to come home again and meet friends and family.

Hi everyone home in cold Sweden and all over thge worrld!

Here in Agadir we have 25 degrees and the sun has shine the whole day. As you all know it’s only two days until we leave Gunilla and the sun, so we have been trying to get the most out of the day. Today the day started with the daily line up on main deck. At the gathering the captain said goodbye because today it was time for him to leave. He told us that it has been nice to meet us even if we haven’t been perfect all the time… After the line up we were divided into 4 groups. We all got different schedules and I started my day in the kitchen. My chore was to peal potatoes, it wasn’t that fun and it took 1,5 hour to peal them all. After my work in the kitchen I got some spare time to pack all my things. It was really sad and it felt so weird to zip the bag though it feels like I unpacked it yesterday. While I packed I listen to some music that I have connect to Gunilla. It got so many feelings at the same time and I didn’t know how to act, should I cry or just be happy?

After we had packed our things my group got free watch and we went directly out in the city. We all were so tired so we decided to just chill on a café and later go to the beach and relax in the sun. At the beach we bought some donuts and drunk some orange juice. It was very nice and we talked about our big experience that soon will be over. We said that it will be a memory for the rest of our lives and it made me think how lucky we should be. After some hours of free watch we went back to the ship and it was time for the final dinner! We all sat together in the big mess and ate John’s fantastic food. It tasted so good and me and all the other vegetarians got salmon with potatoes and some kind of sauce. The others ate beef with potatoes and red-wine sauce. We also played some different games. It was fun and the party fixers did a very good job. The dinner ended with some love bombing and guitar playing. It was so nice and very satisfying. Now we have only one day left here on Gunilla and it feels so weird but even if it going to be sad it will be amazing to come home again and meet friends and family.
