Somewhere between Charleston and Bermuda

We are in the middle of nowhere and can’t see anything more than just waters around us. We are east-bound on our third-day sailing.

At the moment the wind has decreased and we are underway using the engine. The sky is clear and the sun is at its highest point. Hopefully, we will have more of these wonderful days at the sea. But of course, we would like to have some more wind power as well.

I have the 4-8 (and 16-20) watch and really love the sunrises and sunsets every day. You can not get too much of those beautiful views!

Yesterday, our Captain told us that we are going to make a stop and take a bath today, but it’s impossible to make it do to the higher waves. We have just left the Gulf current and the water temperature is decreasing.

Later on today, we will eat traditional Swedish meatballs and mashed potatoes. I really love the food aboard; it feels almost like it feels at home.

Our ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) Bermuda is Tuesday morning. Hopefully, we will arrive on time.

Positions 32 58.5700’N, 74 31.5802’W
Water temperature 20,9C
Air temperature 25,42C
Speed over ground 2,4kn
Wind speed 8,2kn
