Towards Home

On the 7th of June we depatuerd from Bremenhaven with a lot of spectators who stopped their daily life to have look at T/S-Gunilla as we passed thru the lock.

As the said lock was just big enough we reversed the ship into the narrow lock so that the ship would fit.
After we passed thru the lock we swapped watches and it was my time to steer, as i started to steer the wind started to pick up to 10-12 m/S and there was a lot of ships and bouyes so we had to change course a lot which made the steering very intense but it was a lot of fun.
The pilot boats would often come close up the sides and pass us slowely
and some crew would be on deck and wave.
