26:th of April – English blog

This Sunday started with us getting woken up by the 4-8 watch at 7.00 ish. After that we ate breakfast and as usual it was porridge with cinnamon and sugar. As the time went by we had to get ready because it was time for gathering.

After the gathering the cooks and the post went to their stations and the rest, the working force, including me were told to do a rig walk by Olivia, our watch leader. When the rig walk was done we had to learn all of the ropes in the whole boat, so Olivia took us on a rope round. To test our knowledge we had a rope race and our team lost, and I didn’t get any right but it was quite fun anyways. After that we didn’t really do anything important, we just played a few games like the aura game and impostor, because we didn’t have any tasks to do.

On the afternoon watch we also had a walk in the rig, we do that in the beginning of every watch so we have a little bit of energy and that we wake up after our naps, which make sense. Our goal for the day was to clean which we did right after the rig walk. It was quite tuff mostly because I was placed to clean the toilets and the showers. After that I really wanted to get ahold of KiKi so I could get my wifi to check the score in IFK Göteborg – Gais. At first it stood 1-0 to IFK that, of course is very bad but when I checked again later the game ended 2-2 which is quite okay. Now I’m looking forward to 3th of may which is next game against ÖIS. Later on in the watch we just talked to each other and played some other games. I was super tired when we ended the shift and I went to sleep and slept very good.
