A deep clean and an visit to the aquarium

The 21 of August was an day full of work and we even spent some time at the Bergen aquarium.

Bergen has thus far been a quite enjoyable place. We’ve had an appointed visit to the Bergen aquarium today so whilst my watch had duties on the boat we still got to leave for a couple hours. I was appointed chef’s helper today so at 08:00 we finished up the rest of the breakfast cleanup and started cleaning out the main fridge. At 12:30 after lunch we walked to the aquarium. At the aquarium we got a personalized tour by the staff. We got let in behind the scenes and were shown how they feed their animals. I got to hold a snake and we got to pet a flounder. After the visit we headed back to the boat and I took a shower. It's quite rainy and cold here in Bergen so after the short walk back my feet an body was soaked and freezing. After the shower most of my watch were back so we began with our duties again. Even after cleaning the fridge the kitchen still needed more cleaning so we spent the evening and early night cleaning every area and even the hard-to-get-to-places.
