A loud explosion

The last few days, I have been sick, so I don’t have much to talk about, but I’ll try my best to share something. Before I got sick, the washing machine broke. Hasse, our engineer, tried to fix it, but then we heard a loud explosion and saw a blue flash.

After that he told us that we probably had to wash the dishes by hand. This obviously takes much longer time and you don’t get as many opportunitiesfor breaks. We’ll probably be without a washing machine for the rest of the trip.

For the past few days, I’ve been in bed. My days have been pretty boring—getting up for breakfast, then going back to sleep until lunch, eating lunch, sleeping again until dinner, and then sleeping through the night. I’ve been trying to recover so I can get back to work. Today is the first day I feel better.

So, today we are leaving Dublin, and the next stop is Jersey.
