A mission to tar...

The day started at 7 a.m when a classmate came and woke us up and told us ”It’s now seven o’clock, your breakfast starts in fifteen minutes and it’s pretty good weather outside”. After some minutes in bed we all went up to eat. I took oatmeal with sugar and milk to eat and some apple juice to drink.

After we had eaten, everyone went down and changed into their work clothes, I took lighter layers because I was in the working crew today. When the clock was approaching 7.55 we all hurried up to the deck to line up before the watch. We started the watch by turning the sails to a sharper angle to catch the wind better. Later we all was asked to meet in the front of the boat, and we got the misson to tar. But when our supervisor showed us a ripped flag that needed to be fixt I quickly jumped to the challenge. I set up a sew machine downstairs and started to pin down where i was going to sew. The flag was ripped pretty bad so it took some time to sew it all together again, but the outcome was beautiful. And when I was done, the watch was almost over. After the watch I took a shower, I ate lunch and then we had a lesson and we started by drawing pictures to our marine biology assignment. When we had done that for a while, me and my friend went to our room and watched Gilmore Girls until we feel asleep. When the time was 17.10 we had dinner and then at eight o’clock we had watch again. We did not do anything in particular at first so we did some quizzes with each other and then at nine o’clock we started to clean the inside of the boat. I went to clean the bathrooms and everyone else had other assignments around the rooms. When we was done cleaning we had teen o’clock ”fika” and after that we just sat on deck and talked with each other. We had a really good time and the day ended at twelve o’clock when we all went down to sleep.
