This day was like many other days onboard. I started off cleaning the dryers really well: lifting them out, taking them apart and cleaning out all the dust. After this intense cleaning session it was time for me to guard the ship. This is the most important job onboard.
I sat, guarding the ship, while working on my knitted sweater that I am making for my younger brother. Every hour I make a round around the ship, making sure there is no fire, no intruders and no one that has fallen and is hurt.
After my 4 hours of guarding the ship, the rest of my watch was still not finished with the dryers. I therefore came to help them finish the job. After the big cleaning job with the dryers, it was time to clean the toilets. We were quite short staffed because the seafarers were at a museum, making the cleaning a bigger job for the few people we were. After this day, I went to bed early to be ready for the next day.
