Arriving in Cape Verde

Today has been an eventful day. We started by preparing ourselves for arrival at the quay, i.e. prepared fenders, moorings etc. It was those who had the watch so we were also the ones who got to drive into the harbour. It was very exciting.

Well after arrival we also had the watch all day. I spent this watch in the galley as a backis, where I had to chop onions, slice vegetables and set the table. We ended the day with a big cleaning of the galley where the captain himself helped! Now we are looking forward to an exciting day in Mindelo tomorrow!
