It’s Saturday morning, and we are looking forward to a nice day in Dakar. Portside and midship are looking forward to a free day from work and starboard are preparing for a workday. Suddenly captain Leo gets a call from someone that says that we need to move Gunilla from our port place. We move to a different place, but no one can leave the boat. We are waiting and hoping that we can move back soon. But the plans have changed. We decide to not stay in Dakar like planed. So instead of staying one more night we’re sailing away towards Cape Verde instead. We left Senegal behind us and sat course against Cape Verde.
We hope to get to Cape Verde sooner and get an extra day in port. We’re moving slowly but forwards. The last hours on the day we have watched a swarm of butterflies around the boat. A nice start on the trip to Cape Verde!
