Day thirteen

After a long night of not so good sleep due to the crazy weather, I woke up by a hard knock on the door. “It’s time for breakfast.” I hade a left over scone and some cereal and it was amazing as always! Half an hour later it’s time for watch. This day I was working crew. We started off by climbing in the rigg looking for broken blocks but otherwise it was kind of chill.

After the watch I had lunch, chicken with potatoes and ketchup. It was nice. So was the lessons. We worked on the book analysis and surprisingly I finished with both the response and the text, which was a big relief! So after that I could take a nap before dinner. For dinner it was vegetarian meatballs and rice with tomato sauce. Then I got ready for watch ones again. With the hole sailing set I could survive any type of weather. The first thing we did was lash the bram and then we got to cleaning. It went so well that you could use the floor as a mirror if you wanted to! A well deserved fika with scones was served after that. Yummy in my tummy!!

Before we were done with the watch we had to lash the big sail at the bottom as well. Then it was bed time. Good night!
