We have now left the beautiful city of Cherbourg, and we are now heading to the massive portcity Rotterdam. Rotterdam is the second biggest city in the Netherlands, but the biggest port in Europe.
The city of Cherbourg was amazing, it was such a cute small town and you really felt welcome coming there. The boat was, for the first time of the trip, not moored in a secured quay. That means, that the boat laid at a civilian quay, so people was directly outside the boat. A few people started asking a bunch of questions to us about the boat and I did answer the questions gladly.
So leaving Cherbourg fells a bit odd. Especially when we had so much fun here. We went to a museum, a bunch of second-hands and of course the beach. The museum was very interesting, the museum was divided into three different sections. The first section was about the mystery os the sea and all the animals that lives there. As a person who is studying the Nature Science program, was this part very interesting. The next sections of the museum was about the glamorous ship of titanic. The fun thing about that was that it actually was here she was exchanging passengers and cargo between Continental Europe and America. The museum was interesting and fun to watch. The last section was about a nuclear submarine. Everything in the submarine was interesting, because it was so much similarities between it and Gunilla. We compared the messes and our cabins, witch was very fun.
All of the secondhand stores was fun to visit, I did find a nice full-zip shirt I bought but I wished now after hand that I should have bought more. The beach was also nice to visit. I did visit the beach twice, on the beach excursion and with the friend group.
So leaving this beautiful town feels oss, after all we did here We also had a really interesting trip to a bunch of historical places witch was important to see.
We have now left the port and are heading to Rotterdam
