Marrakesh and cheap pants

Right now I’m so thankful that I have had the opportunity to experience all these amazing moments. Nothing in my life is ever going to beat this adventure. Soon I´ll be leaving, but in my backpack I have memories that I will never forget.

Hello everybody!

Guess who´s back? Yeah you´re right, it´s me Alicia Einarsson and I’m going to tell you about my wonderful day here in Morocco.

Today we were forced to wake up 6 o’clock in the morning which was surprisingly good. The thought of the trip to Marrakesh made me jump out of bed with happiness. First we needed to spend three hours on a bus and eventually we arrived to our destination. There our guide, Hassan helped us get to a restaurant with typical Moroccan food. The food was a mixture of rice, vegetables and sauces. We thought this was the only food we would
get but then the main course was served which contained grilled chicken and potatoes, it tasted really good. After the exceptional lunch we moved on to the real deal, the “Souk”. The souk is a large gathering of shops that all together created a big community. I bought many cheap things, for example colourful pants and a beautiful scarf. However, the surroundings were fantastic as well as the weather. The sunlight succeeded to slip through the narrow openings between the wooden roofs. It was a perfect atmosphere.

To summarise the day, everything was awesome. I tried to enjoy every second of it, although I was a little bit tired. Right now I’m so thankful that I have had the opportunity to experience all these amazing moments. Nothing in my life is ever going to beat this
adventure. Soon I´ll be leaving, but in my backpack I have memories that I will never forget.
