Night shift in the galley

Follow me and Alma in the galley during our 12-04 am nightshift.

Today’s been a really long day. I just got off my backis shift with Alma and it was a success. On tonights shift we made pancakes for the whole watch. We got some good help from Vilma and William and also some entertainment from some other people in the little mess. We tried to make American pancakes but they turned out to be something between American and Swedish pancakes. They had crispy ends and were thick and soft in the middle, in my opinion, perfect pancakes. The first ones did get a little steamed in the oven though, because of some miscommunication in the galley. But they were still popular among the work watch. Today were also Edvin’s 17th birthday and we made a special heart shaped pancake with candles for him. We also decorated the little mess with some ballons and sang happy birthday for him with almost the entire watch except for the post. We were playing good music in the galley and sang along almost the entire watch, it was a lot of. Now it’s time for everyone to go to bed before we wake up at 11 tomorrow.

Good night
