On our way

Hello everyone During these 24 hours that have been, we have had time to leave the port and start our journey in Seville. A short trip that will last about four days where the last day will be spent in the river on the way into Seville.

Our guard has so far been great in every possible way with good mood, song and teamwork. We started the watch with good winds and all raw sails set except for the "main" plus an ex number of staysails which made us move forward. Confused as I am, I don't believe that we had changed watch shifts on the schedule so the poor rower had to stand as a rower for a while longer at the helm before I took over. During this watch, it was quite chill to be post, I didn't have to join and salvage all the sails later on the watch because the wind died and we continued with the engine instead. After five glasses and a quarter of an hour later, it was time for ’’fika’’, for ’’nattafika’’ there were scones baked by two girls from my guard, they tasted really good too. After ’’fika’’ I putted on more clothes because this night was really chilly and later I went up to take over as lifeguard. The rest of the watch went and then it was time for a shower and eight hours of sleep, I had also previously slept terribly before the watch which was because I was rocked up and down, up and down because of the waves, really tiring. The night passed and we were woken up an hour before our shift that is supposed to start at 12. We can either choose to have breakfast or lunch right away today it was ’’falukorv och makaroner’’ and I definitely chose that before oatmeal. We had watch change at twelve and today the sun was shining and the sea was still at first before the headwind started when we were going around the cape which is just south of Portugal. I started the same as the last shift as a rower and the time passed quickly this shift, everyone was in a happy mood probably because of the nice weather and during the shift I tried to sunbathe, a little talking to the free ranger and watching big beautiful dolphins hunting fish together with the birds at the end of our guard. I did the last glasses and then it was free watch with lessons, shower, chill and snuggle in the big mess for the starboard watch. And right now as I am writing I am going to go to bed to get some sleep before next watch.
