The first full day

Today is the first full day at sea on the leg towards Bergen. It’s quite windy, so it was a bit of a challenge to be the rower.

During the night watch, it was especially difficult as the wind picked up even more and pushed us northwards. We hoisted the foresail and mainsail, mostly just for practice, so we took them down pretty quickly again. We had coverage from Denmark until lunch, and then we got coverage from Norway. The food is better than usual; today we had hash with fried eggs and lasagna. We are looking forward to when the wind blows in the right direction so we can start sailing, and so the ship rocks a bit less. Right now, we are running on the engine and have been since we left Sweden. We are starting to get into the routines onboard.
