Time moves so fast

I woke up in the middle of the night because of the cold air in our room surrounding me and there was nothing I could do but to wrap my duvet tighter around me and try to sleep again. This repeated itself once again but then I slept peacefully until we got woken up for breakfast, which is the same for me everyday; oatmeal with an ungodly amount of cinnamon sugar. I believe that I have consumed more cinnamon this journey than in the whole 2025 and 2024 together.

At morning lineup they promised to try to fix the aircon, it was about 14 degrees celsius this morning and when I write this I can gladly say that the temperature has risen (shoutout to Marco). Anyway, after the lineup we walked to the ferry terminal in Cowes and after a short wait we got on the ferry. It went quick and it was strange to ride a boat over 5 or 6 knots after all this time on the sea. When we arrived in Southampton we went to a museum about the Titanic and other sea vessels, mainly from the 20th century. As someone who loves history but is not crazy in seafaring it was awesome, there was something for everyone, either if you love history, the sea or sea vessels. It was really interesting to learn more about everything the museum had to offer and especially about surviving items from the Titanic.

After the museum visit we got some free time in the city. Me and my friends decided to eat at a thai restaurant and even though we had to wait for 50 minutes just for take away it was so worth it. Afterwards I can’t say that we did really interesting stuff, we strolled in a few shops in the city centre and then it was time to head back home again.

Back home it had started to rain a bit, therefore we waited and when it stopped, me and three others decided to be smart and save money and have a Girl dinner. That basically translates to “Buy some random things that do not match and eat” We went to a store and did exactly that and then we sat down in the harbour. I had a really great time today, I laugh so much and even tough I miss home sometimes, I always have someone on the boat here. I appreciate the small things more and the fact that we are leaving for our last real stop tomorrow scares me. Did we not just come onboard?
