US election and Swedish embassy

Today I woke up later than usual. On a normal day I would wake up at 7 o’clock for breakfast but today was different. Last night we stayed up very late to watch the US election.

Because of that, we got to wake up at 10 o’clock instead of 7. But now I’m so used to waking up early, so i didn’t sleep all the time to 10. At 11 am it was time for the first brunch ever for me on Gunilla. The chef had made american pancakes with raspberry, a very tasty white bread and plenty of good toppings. Before the brunch we got to welcome a man called Jörgen who was from the swedish ambassador here in Morocco. Him and his driver stayed over for brunch, they also got a tour of the boat. We talked to them about lots of things, like how it is to live in Morocco and how they like it here. When they left we had to come up with something to do next. Some of us wanted to go to the beach, and some wanted to go to the city. Four friends and I decided to go to the big shopping mall here in Tanger called “Center City Mall”, which was about a thirty minutes’ walk from the boat. We didn’t do much at the shopping mall, but the mall had a big food store where we bought some snacks, candy, noodles and sodas. Afterwards we went to McDonald’s that was placed 50 meters away from the shopping mall. We ate some kind of lunch and used the free wi-fi. We spend a long time at mcdonald’s, but after a while we thought it was a good idea to start waking back to the boat. On our way home we stopped at a smaller shopping mall, but we didn’t stay long at all. We came back to the boat just in time for dinner, it was a delicious pasta with meat. After the dinner I just chatted with some friends until 8-9 o’clock. At this time it was time to watch a movie we talked about the whole day watching, the movie was “The Greatest Showman”. I’ve seen the movie one time before but i didn’t remember much of it. I really liked the movie but when it ended I was really tired. Some of my friends also had a long day and felt tired too. So, we decided to go to bed after a while. Some days you have to rest because in my opinion it gets very intense if you don’t.
