A rainy day in Lerwick

Another day in Lerwick, and Starboard and Port had the day off. The day didn’t really start as usual… The person on watch forgot to wake everyone up for breakfast, so everyone woke up at 7:15 instead of 7:00. It didn’t really matter to me, though, because I wanted to sleep in anyway and sleep through breakfast.

Then we had a lineup in the rain, where they told us the news that we would be staying one extra day in Lerwick because of the weather. It felt nice not having to sail out into such strong winds.

I continued sleeping for a while, but then Kicki, some friends and I decided to go to the Lerwick Museum.

It was a wet walk in the rain for about fifteen minutes before we arrived. The museum was both interesting and useful. We walked home in time for lunch. We ate chicken with potato and sweat potatoes.

Efter the lunch me and my friends decided to go for a walk and visit some shops and one café. I took a warm chocolate and it was delicious!

Then we celebrated our birthday girl Svea by eating a sweet carrot cake. In the afternoon me and some friends played cardgames and of course I won. Then we went out for a quick run and came back to a really good pasta and carbonara for dinner.

Later on me and my friend played some games and watched a movie together. It was a really nice and calm day.
