It’s watch again, 12 o’clock. The bells sound and it all begins. An hour of cozy conversations about our pretty crazy lives and some games goes by and it’s time for fika. Everybody gets filled with joy when the smell of scones hit them. 15 minutes of joy goes by too quickly and were back to joy.

At this time, we have Anthony as our watch leader, as our original one, Makoh, got a concussion. Fortunately, he’s the best, and as we do our nightly routine of compressing garbage, he lets us have music. So, there we stand singing along to our favourite music and laughing. From nowhere a typical dance band song gets played and everybody starts dancing. It was a wonderful sight and a memory to cherish. After a good night’s sleep, we could see Shetland and it was beautiful. I finished my lessons and went up to deck. At this point we were so close that my mobile got reception. I called my mom and told her about the awesome sailing and how much fun I was having. After that I realised that IFK Gothenburg was playing, so we watched that with Shetland in the background. A very good day.
