Church and Coldplay songs

We started our day with the usual wake up call at 7.00. but since i did not have harbour watch the need for breakfast was minor, so i took liberty of sleeping in until the last minute only to wake up for the mandatory roll call on deck

When me and some friends finally did wake up it was closer to 11. We got ready and i took a quick second breakfast from the leftovers of a long forgotten pasta dish. Then when the clock was closer to midday we finally left Gunnis. The first thing we did was go buy some snacks and then gasp over the ridiculous prices of Norwegian groceries.

The second thing we did was visit the church in the middle of town. Although we didn’t do it on this specific day i still want to write about the blog, that we went to the church on a different day to listen to a organ concert which one of my favourite memories from Kristiansand. The organist first played Nordic folk lore inspired music on the organ an would at times stop playing to sing instead, she was an amazing vocalist and her voice was much like an angel, it filled the whole chapel. After the short 25 min concert was done. A German tourist came to the organist and asked if he could play the organ, and she agreed. Then he proceeded to play several Coldplay songs on the organ. It was super cool to see someone In there spontaneously start playing so effortlessly.

Anyway back to the actual day. Later after the church me and my friends went to several book stores to search for the second book in the lord of the rings trilogy, since I had already read 2/3 of the first book and only a week had gone by. The result became A purchase of a case of all the books in English. So know hopefully it’s going to last the duration of the trip.
