The 21st of December

We started the day by having breakfast and then getting ready to go on a bus excursion.

We walked towards the bus stop where we were picked up by a bus with a guide who would guide us around the island.

We then headed up into the mountains to check out the special nature and the different climate zones. We made a few stops on the way to check out nice views and nice nature. Then we stopped along the coast and walked a hiking trail of about 1 hour along the water. The weather was then not so good, so we skipped a few stops and headed back to Gunilla.

A while after we had arrived to Gunilla, it was time for a visit to the Red Cross here at El Hierro. There they told us about their work. In the morning, a boat with refugees had also arrived, so we got to know a little about that.

Then we went to the grocery store and bought some snacks and then sat by the water and had a good time. Then it was time to head back to the boat to shower and sleep.
